Silent RA Fix

Depending on the settings in your web browser if the browser sees that your Baldwin tab is “inactive” the invasive audio notification will not sound on the OCC dashboard.  Your tab may be inactive for a variety of reasons but most commonly it is because the tab was loaded, and you have not yet interacted with the page since that load/refresh.
Below are instructions on how to change the settings in your web browser to prevent these “Silent RA’s” from occurring.

Chrome:
  1. When on the Baldwin site, click the padlock to the left of the baldwinsafety.com url. Then select “Site Settings.”

  1. Within site settings, scroll down to “Sound” and change the setting from “Automatic (default)” to “Allow”
  1. This will prevent silent RAs when your browser tab is inactive.  

Note: within Chrome there is no "Save" button. After making a change in settings your change is automatically saved in the browser.
