What's New in the Forms UI
We've made a number of improvements to the forms interface to make it easier, faster, and more intuitive to use. Here’s what’s changed:
1. Rename Your Form — Without Changing the Report ID
- You can now rename a form for easier identification and organization. The Report ID remains unchanged, so data integrity and tracking stay consistent.
2. Streamlined Classifications Dropdown
- The Classifications dropdown has been redesigned to match the style and behavior of other dropdowns across the site. It’s now faster and easier to navigate.
3. Hazards — Easier Linking and Visibility
- Submissions can now be linked to hazards directly from the form view. You can also quickly see any associated hazards, providing a more connected safety workflow.
4. Comments and Attachments — Now Front and Center
- Comments and file attachments are now conveniently located at the top of the form, just beneath the Investigator section.
- We've removed the extra click when attaching a file — you can now upload directly without needing to click "Add" first.

5. Expand / Collapse All for Form Sections
- You can now expand or collapse all form sections at once with a single click, making it easier to navigate long or detailed forms.
6. Required Questions Tracker
7. Easier Submission Linking
- When attaching a submission, you no longer need to know the exact Report ID. Just click the dropdown arrow to see and select from your most recent submissions.
Tip: We recommend renaming forms with meaningful titles (e.g., "Lab Incident - June 2025") to make searching and reporting more efficient for your team.
