Automatically Submit Data to NASA/ASRS

What is it?
The NASA Aviation Safety Report System (ASRS) is an important facet of the continuing effort by government, industry, and individuals to maintain and improve aviation safety. The ASRS collects and analyzes voluntarily submitted aviation safety incident/situation reports in order to lessen the likelihood of aviation accidents. The collected data is used to identify deficiencies and discrepancies in the National Aviation System (NAS) to support policy formulation and planning for, and improvements to, the NAS.
Adding the Functionality to Forms
How Does it Work?
- For both Draft and Submitted form submissions, there will be an option under the More dropdown to "Submit to NASA/ASRS". Draft changes must be saved prior to submitting to NASA/ASRS.

- The NASA/ASRS section will have to be completely filled out to be able to successfully submit.
- If there are any errors, once "Submit to NASA/ASRS" is selected, it will let you know what needs to be fixed.

- Once everything is filled out correctly, you will now have the option to successfully submit the report.

- Once the report is successfully submitted, a NASA/ASRS submission section will appear at the top of the form.
