Filter form folders by group
What is Form Folder Filtering?
The Form Folder Filtering feature allows Form Owners and Client Administrators to "hide" form folders, making them visible only to specific user groups. This feature does not restrict access to forms but helps reduce on-screen clutter by showing users only the forms relevant to their role.
How Does It Work?
- Setting Up Folder Filtering: Form Owners or Client Administrators can contact Baldwin to configure specific form folders so they display only to selected groups.
- Favorites and Access: Users can set Favorites for forms within folders they can see. While folders are filtered, all forms can still be accessible via the main menu.
Examples of Folder Filtering
- Maintenance Group: Only users in the "Maintenance" group see the "Maintenance Forms" folder in their main forms menu.
- Leadership Group: Multiple form folders are assigned to a "Leadership" group, visible only to its members.
Visual Comparison
- Without Form Filtering: All users see all form folders in the main menu.
- With Form Filtering: Users in specific groups, like "Fixed Wing," only see folders assigned to that group, streamlining their view.
