Publishing a Manual
Manual Administrators can publish a manual once all changes have been reviewed and approved. Here’s how to do it:
Check Change Status Bar:
- Ensure all fields under the Change Status Bar show zeros for Changes In Progress, Needing Approval, and Rejected.
Mark as Publishable:
- Click on the
Actions button in the upper right corner. - Select
Mark Publishable.
Manual Status Update:
- Once marked as publishable, the manual's status will change from Draft to Ready to Publish.
- The manual will be automatically published the following morning.
Published Manual:
- The manual will appear in General and
Documents for all users to view in the Manuals folder.
Notification:
- All users will receive a notification that a new revision has been added to
Documents. - The next revision number will be updated in the manual interface with a Draft status, ready for further changes or updates.
This process ensures that the manual is finalized, published, and accessible for all users.
