Status Board

What is it?

A solution for managers who need the ability to create and maintain training or other requirements with expiration dates for personnel.Users assigned to requirements will see their assigned requirements when they click on Status Board. 

Who can create, manage, and renew Status Board requirements?

Any user in the Training Manager administrative role.

Users can renew their own requirements if your portal has been configured for this setting. Please contact us to configure your portal with this option. 

How can I create a new requirement?

  • Select "Add/Edit Requirements" from the main index page.
  • Next, select “+ New” to open additional fields to define the new requirement.


  • "Validity Length" and "Units" allow you to choose how long the requirement will be valid until it expires.
  • Once the requirement is defined, simply select “Create Requirement” to add the requirement to the list.

    How can I assign a requirement to a user or group?

    • From the dashboard, select “+ Assign”.


    • Select the associated requirement from the dropdown to assign to the user(s).
    • You can assign a requirement to:
      • All Active Users in your portal
      • An Individual User
      • Users currently assigned to a specific group or groups.
        • Please note: This will assign a requirement to all users who are in the group at the time of assignment!
        • It will NOT assign requirements to users who are added to the group in the future!
    • When the requirement has been assigned to the user, it will automatically appear on the user’s Status Board and a To Do item is automatically created 30 days prior to the requirement’s expiration date. This requirement will appear on the user's To Do list 30 days prior to expiry.

    How can I view and filter requirements?

    Filter the Status Board requirements by:

    • User
    • Requirement
    • Active or Deactivated
    • Status - Current, Expired, In Grace Period, Not Issued


    Viewing Details, Removing Requirements, and Attachments

    • To view additional details for an assignment, select "Details".
      • You can delete the requirement from user here.
      • Select "Edit" to update the Issue Date.
    • To deactivate an assignment,  select “Deactivate” under the assignment.
    • To quickly renew the requirement, select "Renew". 
    • To add an attachment, select “Attachments” and upload any related documents.
      • (Please Note: attachments can be seen by other Training Managers and the user that the requirement is assigned to)
